Rocky von Ruthen is a magnificent 3 year-old German Shepherd who is large in size and in heart. This handsome boy is such a love; friendly and affectionate, he wants nothing more than to please and be with his people.  We think he will do best in a situation where people are  either mostly home or who take him along to work or outings; he'd also do well with a female dog for a companion.  Rocky has had professional training with one of our trainers, and is well-behaved at the rescue.  With a nice medium energy level, he comes out of his kennel happy and ready to explore, quickly showing what great leash manners he has. He meets other dogs very well on walks and  in playgroups, enjoying the experience and generally minding his own business.  He doesn't forget his humans, coming up for attention and head rubs.  Don't wait to come meet this big magnificent boy!
